On Thursday, May 5, 2011, the Medina County Schools' Educational Service Center, in conjunction with First Merit Bank, sponsored the fifth annual “Top Scholars” Recognition Dinner. This dinner, held at The Center Cafe´ at the Medina County Career Center, honored the “top” student at each of the Medina County high schools. These students then honored those special school employees (certificated or classified) from their school district that “inspired” them to achieve.
Each of the “Top Scholar” and “Inspiration” award winners received plaques recognizing their achievement. The students, their parents, the “Inspiration” award winners, and their school district representative were treated to an excellent meal served by Chef Tony's award-winning “Chef and Restaurant Management” students from the Medina County Career Center.
