2. Visual Arts Festival – May 2023
The format is similar to a graduating art major in college who is required to hold a senior show. Additionally, the Medina County Art League presented five scholarship awards (totaling $2,800) to the winners of its “High School Seniors Scholarships Programs” on Monday, May 20, 2013. This show is held in partnership with Medina Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital; Medina Community Medical Condo Association; and the Medina County Art League.
3. Fair Honors Ensembles – Week of Medina County Fair
Students are selected for membership in these ensembles by their school music director on the basis of their playing and singing ability. Rehearsals for the Medina County Fair Honors Bands and Choirs are held daily for two weeks preceding the Medina County Fair. A 92-member county honors band and a 193-member honors choir participated in August 2013.
4. Medina Hospital Student Artwork Display – September 2022-September 2023
An outgrowth of the spring Visual Art Festival is a year-long rotating student artwork display in the South Medical Office Building, Medina. The rotation schedule is September-November; November-January; January-April; and June-September. This public exhibit of student artwork is the result of a partnership between Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital; Simmons Brothers Construction; ESC of Medina County; and Medina County visual arts teachers.
