Certification and Licensure

The Educational Service Center of Medina County processes renewals and upgrades for the school districts in Medina County.

All licensure is processed online. To begin the application process, please click here to directly go to the Ohio Department of Education page.

Certification and License Renewal for Non-ESC Employees and Substitute Teachers

With the passage of House Bill 438, licensed individuals who are not employed in schools/districts may work to renew their licenses through a cooperating Educational Service Center's Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC).
