Zentangle in the Classroom - Monday, March 20 from 9:00am-3:00pm

Zentangle techniques create a calm environment, reduce stress levels, and prepare for heavy concentration tasks which can improve outcomes and give students a much needed creative outlet.  Learn to incorporate these techniques into your curriculum.  Examples are included for core content areas grades K-12.  Cost is $150.


Social and Emotional Needs of Gifted Students - Tuesday, March 28 from 9:00am-3:00pm  

Discover what may happen when the social and emotional needs of gifted students are not met which may result in heightened awareness, anxiety, perfectionism, stress, issues with peer relationships, and concerns with identity and fit. What can we do in the regular classroom, how can we support parents, and provide students with the help they need?  Parents, adults, and caregivers in their lives need to stay in tune with their specific child's needs, and help shape a strong framework for social-emotional health.   Cost is $100.


How the Science of Reading Informs Teaching - Wednesday, April 12 from 9:00am-3:00pm 

 Learn what “brain words” are, how they are used during reading, and how you can flood student brain dictionaries with them.  Walk away from the workshop with practical activities for daily teaching and student assessment.  Book is included with the cost.  Cost is $125.


Dyslexia Friendly Approach to Curriculum - Thursday, April 27 from 9:00am-3:00pm 

A teacher friendly toolkit that provides the foundations for making the teaching style dyslexia-friendly.  The one day workshop gives an overview of best practices, and what the dyslexia-aware teacher needs to think about within content areas.  Cost is $100.
