We will discuss characteristics and features of gifted individuals that may not be commonly understood. We will review the theory of over sensitivities and how this can contribute to challenges for gifted individuals as well as for their parents, teachers, and peers. Along with increased understanding of the experience of gifted kids, participants will learn strategies for how to help gifted kids cope with their intense emotions and manage their relationships more effectively.
