The Medina County Schools’ ESC Treasurer’s Office hosted their first Health and Benefits Fair on October 30 at the Medina County University Center.
Over 40 employees and family members attended the event. They had the opportunity to meet and speak with several employee benefit representatives and area financial institutions. Maximum Potential Chiropractic did spinal screenings and the Red Cross of Medina County gave blood pressure readings. Lodi Hospital administered over 20 seasonal flu vaccinations and offered bone density scans. Health aides from the ESC performed vision and hearing tests and Medical Mutual of Ohio had a masseuse giving chair massages.
There were door prizes that were selected at the end of the day. John Hovorka won a $50 gas card from Liberty Mutual, Jacinda Yonker won a digital camera from an anonymous source, and Gerri Edwards won a digital picture frame from Colonial Life. We would like to thank those who attended and special thanks for those who donated the door prizes.
