Fifth Grade County Gifted Event
by Brenda Magier
Each spring, the Medina County Schools' ESC gifted coordinators host an educational event for the 5th grade gifted students from Buckeye, Cloverleaf, Highland, and Wadsworth. About 100 students attend each year with their gifted teachers. For the past few years, the theme has been related to environmental education. For the spring 2010 event, the theme will be "21st Century Living," and activities will focus on new technologies and how they are impacting life in the 21st century. Students will rotate through several sessions throughout the day. The date and location of the event will be decided at the December GT Network meeting . Stay tuned for more details.......
