Fair Honors Ensembles - Program Description
The Fair Honors Ensembles program provides the opportunity for identified outstanding vocal and instrumental elementary and junior high/middle school students from Medina County Schools to prepare and perform musical selections at the Medina County Fair under the direction of music educators in the county schools system. Students are selected for membership in these ensembles by their school music director on the basis of their playing and singing ability.
Rehearsals for the Medina County Fair Honors Bands and Choirs are held daily for two weeks preceding the Medina County Fair. A 98-member county honors band and a 212-member honors choir participated in August 2011.
