EDULOG Computerized School Bus Routing Program
The Medina County Schools' ESC provides and supports the EDULOG system for Brunswick, Buckeye, Cloverleaf, and Highland School Districts. EDULOG is a specialized program for pupil transportation management, attendance boundary planning, field trip management, fleet management, and enrollment forecasting. EDULOG's transportation software package offers school districts effective tools to develop the most efficient school bus routes and schedules under district guidelines.
One of the most prominent products of EDULOG that the public sees is the printed bus route schedule, which may be published on Web sites or in the newspaper or sent as postcards/letters to each student indicating his/her bus stop information.
The ESC:
- Pays the districts’ annual software package premium to EDULOG.
- Provides direct support to the districts with ESC personnel via phone, on-site visits, and e-mail.
- Trains local district personnel whenever upgrades to the program are introduced or when there is a change in personnel running the program.
- Remains current in all software updates and serves as a liaison between the districts and EDULOG.
