Welcome Back,
Everyone here at the Media Center, Gerri
Edwards, Director, couriers Dick Christy and Lottie Carske would
like to welcome you back and let you know we looking forward
to assisting you in your delivery needs. We will start delivering
to your school on August 25, 2008. Since many our schools have
different schedules for breaks and in-services, I have posted the
courier’s 08-09 delivery calendar for your convenience.
The Media Center has deleted many old
resources and purchased new titles for the resource collection. You
can locate the newest materials added to the
collection on the Medina County Cooperative
Media Center’s web site. Also, I have posted a list of all titles
that have been deleted this summer. If you have questions about any
of the deleted titles please call Gerri at 330-723-4114.
There will be
a section on this web site for you to request the Media
Center to
purchase resources for you and your students, feel free to send
requests. You can also initiate a request through your school
librarian and we can finalize the request.
I
did purchase through a request form, three videos this
summer; Snack
Smarts, Napoleon
Bonaparte, and a new
version of Jane
Eyre. I have also
purchased for the resource collection the following DVDs for you
and your students: Independent
Living for Young Adults and
Life
Skills: The Working World of Young Adults from
Film Ideas and Space
Exploration from
Landmark Media.
