Beginning Chinese Language

Description:
Participants will learn Chinese Level 1 including daily life conversation, vocabulary, reading, and writing. Participants will be able to recognize 100 Chinese characters. Participants will also have a chance to learn Chinese culture such as painting, paper-cutting, and tai-chi. Before the first day of class, please purchase Integrated Chinese: Workbook Traditional Characters, Level 1, Part 1 (3rd Edition) and Integrated Chinese: Textbook Simplified Characters, Level 1, Part 1 (3rd Edition).
Registration fee: $60 Out-of-District fee: $120
One (1) Graduate Credit Hour will be available at the cost of $150 through The University of Akron or Ashland University on the first day of class. 1.5 CEUs will be available at no charge.
