Rehearsals are scheduled for the weekday mornings of:

July 22-31, 2024

With our concert at the

Medina County Fair

on August 1 at noon and 1 p.m.

Band - Grades 4-8
Elementary Choir - Grades 3-6

Youth Choir - Grades 6-12
Orchestra - Grades 5-8

Fair Band Fair Choirs Fair Orchestra

Program Description

Public and homeschooled students are eligible to participate in the Fair Honors Ensembles if they reside in a Medina County school district currently under contract for Fine Arts Services with the ESC of Medina County. For the 2023-2024 school year, that includes: Black River, Brunswick, Buckeye, Cloverleaf, Highland, Medina, and St. Francis Xavier School. Students are recommended for membership in the Fair Band, Choirs, and Orchestra by their school music director on the basis of their playing and singing ability.

Rehearsals are held daily for two weeks preceding the Medina County Fair, and then a public performance is given at the Fair. More than 175 students participated in 2023, including a 14-member orchestra.
